Matthew Ratsma BA(Hons) Dip(Arch) ARB RIBA

Practice Principle

Matthew Ratsma is the founding partner of MMM and is the Principal Architect of the practice.

Matthew trained at  Canterbury College of Art and studied under Professor Izi Metstein at Edinburgh University where he gained a distinction in his postgraduate diploma. After becoming a partner at Simon Smith and Michael Brooke Architects, he founded MMM in 1997 with partners Min Hitchcox and Mark Davison.

Matthew took sole direction of the practice in 2010.

Matthew’s involvement with each project is a completely hands on approach!   Starting with the initial early stage advice and evaluation of the project his support doesn’t waiver till the final sign off. Matthew takes great pride in the standard of service given to each client, as a Chartered RIBA practice he ensures this service is filtered across the entire architectural team.
