Wandsworth, London, UK, 2000

Located within the Wandsworth Council Conservation Area in South West London, a family house was built on the former site of a wallpaper warehouse. Situated within a Victorian terraced street, the home was thoughtfully designed to blend in with the architecture of the surrounding buildings. Elevations were carefully planned to blend seamlessly with the local historical context, echoing the neighbouring cottages and a nearby bank building. Double-height spaces and movable walls enhanced adaptability and created a versatile living environment that, upon completion, was nominated by Wandsworth Borough Council for a Civic Trust Award.
