Description

Renovation and extension of a 1960’s bungalow to create a stunning contemporary country house. The site is located in an "Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty", and was subject to extreme attention from the local Planning Authority. The design solution was to retain all of the existing buildings on the site, and to insert a 100m long architectural gallery to connect them, and a contemporary building containing the kitchen and dining spaces. This solution provided maximum impact, with minimum expenditure.
